Stress

Most people deal with stress by drinking, smoking, doing drugs, etc. These responses to stress do seem to help, for the moment that is. I am guilty as charged, I indulge on the regular in at least on of these activities. I do this because I can, I do this because I choose to. One small problem I see however. If one uses a vice to cope with everyday life struggles, how does one's tolerance for stress increase? It does not! The only tolerance that increases is for the very thing they "depend" on. We are not teaching ourselves to be stronger in this manner, only weak to the ever so everyday woes.

All I'm saying is that a sober day here and there to analyze daily patterns can be a good insight to ones personality, demeanor, and attitude.
