Prohbition (a hidden gem in Downtown)

I had no idea what the fuck was going on when we walked up to an unmarked door with a small slit in it. Nothing had been said to me, thanks to my two associates at the time. Knock, knock on this strange unmarked door in downtown on fifth ave. Slit opens and my associate introduces himself as Gabriel to the large doorman. Apparently they know each other as we were let in promptly.

Through the door and down some stairs we go. Damn, I exclaimed aloud as my eyes darted through this timeless "speakeasy" The lighting, the pictures, the band, everything was so damn authentic feeling. Soon enough a Makers and ginger filled my hand as I absorbed the surroundings (absorbed as the wood in a Makers filled barrel would do).

I highly recommend checking this place out if you can get in or find it. Try the website for a bit of help.http://www.prohibitionsd.com/about.html
